Newport Gallery Night - 2/1/2007 - 12/27/2007
Art exhibits of galleries include hand blown glass, wood block prints, award winning photography, international handcrafts and fine arts. Many of the galleries host opening receptions, introduce artists and new exhibits on Gallery Night. Free admission to all galleries and free parking at Newport Visitors Information Center, 23 America's Cup Ave., or the Newport Art Museum, 76 Bellevue Ave. Second Thursday of each month, from February through December.

Newport Gallery Night - 2/8/2007 - 12/13/2007
The evening receptions of Newport Gallery Night takes place the second Thursday of the month at member galleries where art, refreshments and occaisonally entertainment are offered.A great diversity of galleries brings the viewer everything from classic works to cutting edge contemporary pieces by artists and artisians. Free parking can be found in the downtown area at the Visitor's Center and at the Newport Art Museum, "On the Hill." Fine dining at a discount is offered by many area restaurants with coupons found in the galleries on Newport Gallery Nights.

Newport International Polo Series - 6/2/2007 - 9/29/2007Experience the speed and athleticism of equine polo in matches featuring teams from around the globe playing against USA. 37th Newport International Boat Show - 9/13/2007 - 9/16/2007
As one of the five largest in-water boat shows in the country, the Newport International Boat Show features more than 600 new powerboats and sailboats from domestic and international exhibitors. Hundreds of booths with marine electronics, services and accessories, plus educational seminars, Discover Sailing, a TrawlerPort section and exciting first-time boat and product debuts can be found at the Newport Show. Displays are featured along 15- acres of historic Newport Harbor. Thursday Sept. 13th - Sunday Sept. 16 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
